Abstract

To secure the base (1) and the articulation (3) carrying the projector of a lamp, particularly a table lamp or floor lamp, to the corresponding tubular standard (2), the following are used: - a first hollow rod (4) of rigid plastic, designed to fit accurately into the bottom end of the standard (2), the bottom end thereof being provided with a flange (40) with a groove (41) to take the foot (20) of the standard (2) and the top end thereof being provided with an internal frustoconical flare (4) in order, by elastic forming, to take the nut (5) of a bolt (6) passing through a corresponding hole (10) in the base (1) of the lamp with an interposed washer (7), and into the cavity (43) of said rod (4), such that as it is screwed into the nut (5) it causes the forced expansion of the rod (4) inside the cavity (20) of the standard (2), thus securing the base (1) of the lamp to the standard (2); - a second hollow rod (8) of rigid plastic, with a plurality of longitudinal fins (80), this rod being designed to fit accurately into the top end of the standard (2) and provided with an upper collar (81) to bear against the upper rim of the standard (2) and with an internal thread (82) at the position of its top end in order to take, by screwing, the male element (30) of the articulation (3) of the lamp, and in such a way that its screwing causes the forced expansion of the rod (8) inside the cavity (20) of the standard (2), thus securing the articulation (3) to the standard (2). <IMAGE>
