DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
STATO DELL?ARTE (background) STATE OF THE ART (background)
Does this description concern an auxiliary mobility device? of a non-cooperative patient, dedicated in particular to hospital stays, in clinics and/or inpatient facilities in general. This device, called "hospital bed for non-cooperative patients", guarantees the healthcare worker total autonomy in carrying out the common maneuvers required to facilitate the well-being of the non-cooperative patient. The device ? therefore, aimed at professional users, but not ? use in the home environment is absolutely excluded, in the event that the patient, capable and aware of his own actions, is able to operate the device in total autonomy in order to find the most comfortable position. comfortable and congenial on the hospital bed. The device in question? to be considered a hospital bed apparently similar to those currently on the market, but in reality? equipped with features and functionality? additional features that are of great assistance to social and health workers in carrying out the most important operations. widespread and frequent for the full well-being of patients, especially uncooperative ones, such as:
? mobilizzazione laterale verso un lato del letto; ? lateral mobilization towards one side of the bed;
? rotazione sul fianco (decubito laterale); ? rotation on the side (lateral decubitus);
? riposizionamento verso la testiera del letto o viceversa; ? repositioning towards the headboard of the bed or vice versa;
? sostituzione biancheria e pulizia del paziente; ? replacement of linen and cleaning of the patient;
? passaggio dalla posizione supina a quella seduta propedeutica al trasferimento su altro ausilio (sedia a rotelle); ? transition from the supine position to the sitting position in preparation for transfer to another aid (wheelchair);

There are currently no hospital beds on the market with characteristics and functionality? comparable to those of the device which is the subject of this patent application.
Are there state-of-the-art solutions for mobility? of non-cooperative patients in a hospital setting, such as that described in international patent n? WO 03/082176 dated 09.10.003, which describes a hospital bed for uncooperative patients, equipped with an anti-decubitus mattress and integrated toilet device. Many other patents, however, in order to avoid the development of bedsores in long-term patients, describe motorized bed bases and mechanisms for their movement.
DESCRIZIONE ( detailed description) DESCRIPTION (detailed description)
The invention, the subject of a patent and utility model application, called "hospital bed for non-cooperative patients?" (1000), has the aim of facilitating the standard maneuvers that a social health worker? called upon to manage the hospitalization of an uncooperative patient. In this case, for greater explanatory clarity, the description of the hospital bed for uncooperative patients (1000) continues with particular reference to the attached drawings, which have only an illustrative value and are certainly not restrictive and/or binding:

Figure 15 ? a representation of the standard maneuver that the social health worker uses? OSS? must be performed to carry out the lateral transfer from one surface to another (stretcher or other bed).
Pertanto, lo stesso materasso nella rotazione, data dall?unit? motrice (271), pu? traslare, facendo ruotare il paziente (P) e, pertanto, agevolando il compito dell?operatore socio sanitario nelle seguenti operazioni manuali standard: According to figures 1, 2 and 3, the hospital bed for non-cooperative patients (1000)? consisting of a joint assembly (200) and a base assembly (300). The joint group (200) in turn? made up of one or more? elements, preferably four, as in figure 2. The joints (210, 230, 250, 270) identified in the figure are identical in shape, but of suitably different dimensions depending on the part of the body to be supported. In the joint group (200) ? is there a?unit? drive (271), which, by means of shafts interconnected to each other through joints, guarantees the movement of each individual joint. In figures 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 the conformation of the joints can be seen. For illustrative purposes only, the joint (210) is taken into consideration, as all the other joints are identical except for size. It ? consisting of a horizontal frame (211), a right side frame (216) and a left side frame (215). The right side frame (216), characterized by an ?L? shape? can? rotate around the right rotation axis (B) as well as the left side frame (215), which is also characterized by an ?L? shape. can? rotate around the left rotation axis (A). On the horizontal frame (211) there are drive rollers, only one of which is motorized (214), connected to a unit drive (271), which through joints guarantees the rotation motion of all the joints present (210, 230, 250, 270). In fact, the rotary motion coming from the unit? drive (271) rotates the drive roller (214), which thanks to a system of transmission belts (217, 218) transmits the rotary motion to the central idle roller (224) and to the lateral idle roller (225). In turn, the lateral idler roller (225) transmits the rotary motion through a transmission belt (213) to the right lateral idler roller (226) which, via a system of transmission belts (227, 228), transmits the rotary motion to the idler roller right final (229). The structure of the joint (210) ? symmetrical therefore the transmission of the rotary motion from the driving roller (214) passes to the left lateral idle roller (223) through the transmission belt (219); subsequently the rotary motion is transmitted to the left final idler roller (222) through the transmission belts (221, 220). The driving roller (214), the central idle roller (224) and the lateral idle roller (225) rest on supports secured to the horizontal frame (211). The left side idler roller (223) and the left final idler roller (222) rest on supports secured to the left side frame (215). While the right side idler roller (226) and the right final idle roller (229) rest on supports secured to the right side frame (216). With particular reference to figures 3, 8 and 9, the left side frame (215) can? rotate around the engine rotation axis (A) through a front lateral actuator (342) which, by pushing a left lever (350) and through a left bar (351), lifts the left lateral frame (215) into rotation. The left bar (351), being of such a length as to affect all the present joints (210, 230, 250, 270), will lift? the respective left frames at the same time. The hospital bed for uncooperative patients (1000), since? ? symmetrical in the base unit (300), has a rear lateral actuator (354) which, by pushing the right lever (353), as well as? the right bar (352) lifts the right side frame (216) into rotation around the rotation axis (B), exactly as described for the left side frame (215). According to figures 7 and 10 the mattress (M) is integral with the transmission belts 217, 218, 213, 227, 228, 219, 220, 221, cos? as ? also integral with the transmission belts of the other joints present in the invention (210, 230, 250, 270), all identical in shape. Therefore, the same mattress in the rotation, given by the unit? engine (271), can? translate, rotating the patient (P) and, therefore, facilitating the task of the healthcare worker in the following standard manual operations:
? il passaggio tra decubito supino a decubito laterale del paziente non collaborativo - figura 11; ? the transition from supine decubitus to lateral decubitus of the uncooperative patient - figure 11;
? il passaggio tra decubito supino a posizione seduta del paziente non collaborativo - figura 12; ? the transition from supine decubitus to a sitting position of the non-cooperative patient - figure 12;
? lateral transfer between two surfaces (stretcher or other bed) - figure 15.
The hospital bed for non-cooperative patients (1000), as can be seen in figures 3, 8 and 9, also features further actuators which, thanks to their use, make it possible to facilitate the healthcare worker in other standard manual manoeuvres, namely:
? il riposizionamento verso la testiera del letto o viceversa del paziente non collaborativo - figura 13; ? repositioning the non-cooperative patient towards the head of the bed or vice versa - figure 13;
? carry out linen replacement and cleaning of the uncooperative patient? figure 14.
Very frequently ? It is necessary to move the non-cooperative patient towards the headboard of the bed or vice versa, this requires the use of a minimum of two social health workers who, through a standard manual maneuver, lift the patient bodily, dragging him towards the headboard of the bed or towards the footboard of the bed. same as needed. To meet the above needs, the invention, as can be seen in figures 3, 8 and 13, has a base assembly (300), made up of a load-bearing structure (310) and a rear upright (312), on which an actuator rests rear (341) at the end of which? ? secured a rear rope (360). The rear rope (360) passes through the lower rear pulley (321), running through the upper rear pulley (322) and a rear idler pulley (325) and ending with a rear strap (361). By duly harnessing the patient (P) through the rear harness (361), the healthcare worker can do so in a motorized manner, without any physical effort and without the help of a colleague (while normally the operations in question are carried out by two healthcare workers ) can? carry out the standard manual maneuver of moving the uncooperative patient towards the headboard or footboard of the bed. The harness system is repeated exactly identical in the front part to guarantee the reverse operation compared to the one previously described. In fact, the device found (1000) ? including the front upright (311) on which there is a front actuator (340), at the end of which? ? secured a front rope (363); the latter passes through the lower front pulley (320), the upper front pulley (323) and the front return pulley (324), ending with a sling (362). The patented invention (1000)? also equipped with an actuator for the front backrest (330), which manages the inclination of the joint (210) or the backrest, as well as? the rear footrest actuator (331), which allows you to move the joints (250, 270). The combination of these traditional and known actuations with the aid of the rear part of the rear harness (361) and the front part of the front harness (362) allows the management of standard operations such as replacement of linen and/or personal hygiene of the patient collaborative without having the help of another operator to support the weight of the lower limbs or torso in operations that require keeping them raised? figure 14.
