1) Pet litter including:

- a first concave half-shell (2) delimited by a support base on the ground and by a first perimeter edge, opposite to said support base,

- a second half-shell (3) provided with a second perimeter edge having a profile which can be combined with that of the first perimeter edge of said first half-shell and can be connected to the latter by means of fixing means,

said first and said second half-shell, when joined together, defining an internal compartment suitable for accommodating a pet, - an access opening (21) obtained on one of the sides of said litter box, to allow entry and/or exit of said pet, characterized in that said opening of said litter box comprises snap means for reversibly coupling a removable barrier (4, 5) for said opening.

2) Litter for animals according to claim 1, characterized in that said removable barrier ? a canopy (4) having a sloping front wall (43) and two side walls joining up with the edge of said opening (21).

3) Litter box for domestic animals according to claim 2, characterized in that said shelter (4) rests uniformly on the part of the opening (21) of said litter box, while above it? provided with two pins (41) which fit into respective holes (210) present in the edge of said opening (21) of said litter box.
