The present invention relates to an innovative multifunctional gymnastic system with minimized overall dimensions and automatic set-up, which can be operated vocally and can be installed vertically on the wall and concealed, in a suitable container cabinet.

In the prior art, the equipment for the activities gymnastics to perform numerous types of exercises have been known for many years, even if only in the last twenty years? witnessed the development and marketing of a wide range of exercise equipment intended primarily for home use and for ?home fitness? applications, given the emphasis on appearance and personal image, as well as ease of exercise? with which the advertising? can? now reach a much larger audience? broadly through teleshopping and mobile phone notifications. This situation has led to very strong competition between manufacturers, who in turn strive to create new exercise equipment.

One of the problems of the prior art, which has not yet been solved to date, is the lack of space necessary to use the equipment comfortably, especially in the home. In the prior art called lacuna ? been partially overcome by designing the equipment to fold away when not in use and to be stored in small or unused spaces. The folding equipment solves the space problem to a large extent successfully, although the folding equipment continues to be awkward to use, as it has to be taken out of its storage position, manually set up in the working position and then, when finished of the gymnastic exercise, folded again and returned to its rest and/or storage position.

In the prior art, to date, a plurality of of patents relating to exercise equipment comprising more? functions and dimensionally resized in the overall dimensions and equipped with automatic adjustment. Only three of these patents are mentioned below, considered more? similar, but in any case completely different from the present invention, since the latter fully solves the problems still unresolved by the same, as specified below.

A first document? the Latvian patent LV12272 (A), published on 05/20/1999, entitled ?Universal exercising apparatus and method of doing physical exercises and relaxation?. It concerns an exerciser intended for physical exercises and bodily relaxation in places where there are no physical units. sports and ? essentially consisting of a support, a fixing device, a retaining pawl, an interchangeable cassette equipped with a reel, a return spring and an elastic rubber cord.

The Latvian patent is characterized by the fact that:

- upon release of the fastening device, the return spring winds the string on the spool to its initial position;

- in the normal position, the fastening device keeps the elastic rope from any whirling unwinding and/or winding;

- the body of the support ? equipped with an arm fixed to said support or made together with the body of the support and unit? plug-type fastening, which allows autonomous use of the appliance; - the device support contains an interchangeable cassette with reel which allows for quick replacement of ropes of different flexibility; moreover, the unit? fixing the supports? equipped with bearings that allow the holder to rotate freely around its axis and fasteners that limit the angle of rotation to half a turn.

Said found Latvian while providing the possibility? to perform a complex of exercises to directly exercise various muscle groups (elbow, shoulder, back, neck, waist, calf, foot joint and palm) in the office, during breaks, on the road and even when traveling and to be practically applicable everywhere, it has the disadvantage of not at all realizing a multifunctional and complete gymnastic system capable of satisfying the gymnastic needs of an athletic person; moreover, the exercise equipment of the kit does not have minimized dimensions at all and cannot be operated automatically.

A second document? the Italian patent ITMI20052448A1 published on 06/23/2007, entitled ?Furnishing module containing a gymnastic tool?. It concerns a furnishing module containing gymnastic equipment. The module is configured to allow integration into virtually any environment and to make the equipment available, preferably already in place. in operational configuration, simply by opening the module. Also this found Italian, while providing the possibility? of performing a set of exercises to directly exercise various groups of muscles and of being applicable practically everywhere, has the disadvantage of not at all realizing a multifunctional and complete gymnastic system capable of satisfying the gymnastic needs of an athletic person; moreover, the exercise equipment present in the furnishing module does not have minimized dimensions at all and cannot be operated automatically, in particular under the user's voice command.

A third document? the Italian patent ITMI992138A1, published on 10/14/1999, entitled ?Automatic exerciser?. It concerns a gymnastic tool that can be controlled in mode? automatic, i.e. that the module has a configuration suitable to allow it to be integrated and moved by means of an automatic drive device.

Even this last found Italian, while providing the possibility? being moved in a completely automatic way, it has the disadvantage, like the others, of not at all realizing a multifunctional and complete gymnastic system, therefore capable of satisfying the gymnastic needs of an athletic person; moreover, the existing automatic control does not allow intelligent interaction with the movement of the exerciser itself.

The fundamental drawback of the current prior art, therefore, is essentially due to the fact that although innovations and improvements have been made in minimizing the dimensions of these gymnastic tools and in the automatic control of their handling, is it not? Have you ever managed to integrate all the features and functions exhaustively and in a single tool? of the various known tools.

Therefore, the present invention ? was designed to solve the problem of minimizing the overall dimensions of a multifunctional exerciser, make as much as possible? complete the latter to fulfill all possible requests and needs? of an?athlete, also solving? the disadvantages of the prior art; in particular, with the present invention it is also intended to solve the problem correlated with the automatic movement of the multifunctional tool, trying to control the latter in an intelligent manner.

In particular, the present invention, in the example given by way of example but not in a limiting way, has the purpose of providing an innovative multifunctional gymnastic system which has minimized overall dimensions, which can be operated automatically, for example with voice commands, and that can be installed vertically on the wall and concealed, in a special container cabinet, with completely minimized overall dimensions.

Another object of the present invention, no less important than the previous one, is that of creating an innovative multifunctional gymnastic system that is simple and practical to use by the gymnast.

Another purpose, equally important, is that of creating a multifunctional gymnastic system that is easy to implement on an industrial level with minimized costs.

These aims are achieved by realizing the present innovative and inventive multifunctional gymnastic system with minimized overall dimensions, which can be operated vocally and can be installed vertically on the wall and concealed, in a special container cabinet, with the latter suitable for containing all the existing gymnastic equipment in a gym, in a minimized space.

These and other purposes with the consequent advantages, as well as? the characteristics of the invention according to the present invention will be more? clearly evident from the following detailed description of a preferred solution, given by way of non-limiting example with reference to the attached drawings, in which:

From the attached figures, an art technician can? easily deduce the inventive idea, the latter inherent in the fact of having devised an innovative multifunctional gymnastic system 1 having minimized dimensions and automatic set-up, which can be operated vocally and can be installed concealed, in a special container cabinet 10.

The container cabinet 10 (Figures 2-13) ? able to contain the whole system 1 constituted by a plurality? of elements constituting the various pieces of equipment usually present in a gym and capable of realizing exhaustively and in a single piece of equipment 1 all the characteristics and functionalities? of the various known gymnastic machines, such as, by way of example only, but not limited to, some of the most? known, with the relative English terms according to which they are called today:

The present multifunctional gymnastic system 1 with minimized overall dimensions and automatic set-up is therefore characterized by the fact that it comprises a plurality of of gymnastic equipment, until now present in a gym, but now automatically settable in a domestic or work environment for the correct execution of the specific gymnastic exercise. Every exercise? which can be set by voice command, by means of the combination and the articulation or reciprocal movement of a lifting belt or ribbon 2 of the tool, constrained to the container cabinet 10 capable of enclosing the whole system 1, a support and pulling axis 3 of the lifting belt lifting, a pair of crosspieces 4, at least one pair of knobs 5 which can also be used as disc holders or weights 6 protruding from the crosspieces 4, a spring winder 7 of the belt 2, a central stiffening means 8 of the crosspieces 4, at least one means stiffening 9 of the extremities? of the sleepers, at least one hinged foot 12 for the vertical support of the exercise equipment to be used, at least one means 13 for moving the specific exercise equipment, an adjustment means or throttle 14 of the foot adjustment stroke, at least one linear actuator 16 , at least one knob 17, a weight stack 18 variously arranged in mass and liftable by means of a lifting means 19 on tubular guides 20, a pair of beams or parallel axes 21 constituting the dashboard or platform or bench, a pair of lifting rails 22 of the fulcrum F of the bridge 21, a support means 24 of the bridge 21 and a manual exclusion means 25 of the latter.

In a first preferred solution, the system 1 is basically characterized by the fact that it has a cabinet 10 specifically designed to contain a bench or platform or dashboard 21 that can be moved automatically, for example with a voice command, with the aid of servo-mechanisms such as hydraulic pistons 13, with said bench 21 which can be further equipped in various ways? and configurations to make it suitable for realizing in a single system 1 the various gymnastic tools and machines present in a gymnasium.

The dimensions of the container cabinet 10 are minimized to a height of less than two metres, a depth of less than thirty-five centimeters and a width of less than one hundred and sixty centimeters (Fig.13).

In another preferred solution the multifunctional gymnastic system 1 ? domotizzato, that is to say that the configuration of the single tool desired in the performance of a plurality? of chosen gymnastic exercises, ? performed in a residential environment under vocal command by the same gymnast 23; the latter, therefore, from time to time, has only to set up, with extreme ease?, the tool automatically configured under his voice command, possibly also using other elements allocated in an appropriate way within the same cabinet, such as weights, a bench, barbells, dumbbells, ?racks? and other accessories.

The wardrobe 10 contains all the necessary and complete equipment to reproduce the plurality of of the machines present in a gym and ? can be installed on the wall in any domestic environment.

System 1? robotic, that is to say that ? equipped with electronic means and servomechanisms designed to move it automatically under voice command.

At the time of the initial preparatory configuration (Fig.1) the system 1 automatically positions itself with the dashboard 21 placed diagonally, like an inclined plane, supported in said position by the support means 24 consisting of a pair of feet equipped with a stiffening crossbar (Figures 2 and 3).

An exclusion means 25 of the support means 24 allows the latter to be manually excluded in exercises in which it is not necessary the same support means 24, such as for example the ?squat? the ?dead lift? and the ?leg press?, as represented in the five Figures 5-9.

In a first preferred solution, the system 1 is basically characterized by the fact that the inclined plane formed by the dashboard 13? adjustable without solutions of continuity, since the latter is equipped with a hinge means with a fulcrum point F mobile on a vertical axis (in the directions indicated by the double arrow A in the direction shown in Fig.3) according to the exercise chosen by the gymnast 23, moving vertically together with the loosening or tensioning (in the directions indicated by the double arrow B in Fig.3 of the belt or ribbon 2) exerted by a spring winder 7 and with the lengthening or shortening (in the directions indicated by the double arrow C) of the dashboard support means 24, said elements moved by automatisms actuated under voice command.

Said hinging means with a fulcrum point F movable on a vertical axis therefore allows the orientation of the inclined plane constituted by the plank 13 plus? suitable for the gymnast 23, completely solving the problem of the known machines, which on the contrary allow an adjustment of the height of the plane 13 and of the height of the same fulcrum point F only at discrete values.

Said regulation of the fulcrum point F in a continuous manner in the present system 1 allows, for example, in the automatic preparation of the latter for the execution of the ?shoulder press? to set up the specific exercise machine at the height/adjustment of the platform pi? appropriate to the gymnast 23, which pu? at will, activate or not the foot support means by means of a cord 25, the latter in turn tensionable by means of a blocking means 26 (Fig.3).

How, then,? Is it possible for a person skilled in the art to deduce the present invention with reference to its feasibility? technical-industrial, has the advantage of offering a? high simplicity? of industrial manufacturing and at the same time the use of materials that meet the current requirements of quality, resistance over time and minimized environmental impact.

One of the first indisputable advantages of this system? constituted precisely by the fact that it allows you to perform any gymnastic exercise with automatically adjustable equipment and without any solution of continuity.

Another undoubted advantage of the present invention ? that of having further minimized the costs of a home automation gym for home use.

? it is also evident that numerous adjustments, adaptations, additions, variations and replacements of elements with other functionally equivalent ones could be made to the embodiments previously described for illustrative but not limiting purposes only, without departing from the scope of protection of the following claims.

Claims (10)

1) Multifunctional gymnastic system (1) with minimized overall dimensions and automatic set-up, characterized by the fact that it includes a plurality of of exercise equipment, now present in a gym, automatically equipped for the correct execution of the specific exercise settable by voice command, called plurality? of gymnastic equipment individually made through the combination and articulation or reciprocal movement of the following elements: a lifting belt or tape (2) of the equipment, constrained to a container cabinet (10) able to enclose the whole system (1), a support and pulling axis (3) of the lifting belt, a pair of crosspieces (4), at least one pair of knobs (5) which can also be used as disc holders or weights (6) protruding from the crosspieces (4), a winder (7) spring of the belt (2), a central stiffening means (8) of the sleepers (4), at least one stiffening means (9) of the ends? of the sleepers, at least one hinged foot (12) for the vertical support of the exerciser to be used, at least one means for moving (13) of the specific exerciser, an adjustment means or throttle (14) of the foot adjustment stroke , at least one linear actuator (16), at least one knob (17), a weight stack (18) variously arranged in mass and liftable by means of a lifting means (19) on tubular guides (20), a pair of beams or parallel axes (21) constituting the dashboard or platform or bench, a pair of lifting rails (22) of the fulcrum (F) of the dashboard (21), a means of support (24) of the dashboard (21) and an exclusion means (25 ) manual of the latter. 2) Multifunctional gymnastic system (1) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that said plank or platform or bench (21), in addition to being hinged at one end thereof, has or fulcrum (F), runs vertically, up and down? (A), along the pair of rails (22) suitable for raising or lowering the height of said fulcrum (F) from the floor level. 3) Multifunctional gymnastic system (1) according to all the preceding claims, characterized in that said plank (21), when constrained in height on its end? hinge or fulcrum (F) and resting on said support means (24), ? can be lifted and lowered by means of the synchronous pulling movement of the belt (2) and the pushing or pulling action of the hydraulic jack (16). 4) Multifunctional gymnastic system (1) according to all the preceding claims, characterized in that said plank (21), when constrained in height only on its end? of hinge or fulcrum (F), ? can be lifted and lowered by pulling the belt (2). 5) Multifunctional gymnastic system (1) according to all the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that said lifting belt (2) lengthens or shortens in tension (B) between the support axis (3), constrained to the container cabinet (10), and the spring winder (7) located on the dashboard (2). 6) Multifunctional gymnastic system (1) according to all the preceding claims, characterized in that said board (2) is equipped with a support means (24), the latter consisting of at least one linear actuator (16) and a support foot (12). 7) Multifunctional gymnastic system (1) according to all the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that said support means (24) is, if necessary, according to the particular gymnastic exercise chosen by the gymnast (23), which can be manually excluded by means of the activation of a lanyard (25). 8) Multifunctional exercise system (1) according to all the preceding claims, characterized in that said fulcrum point (F) is? it can be positioned at any level in height and without solutions of continuity, starting from the level of the floor up to the maximum height that can be reached from the dashboard (2) in correspondence with said fulcrum point (F). 9) Multifunctional gymnastic system (1) according to all the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that in a small space such as that of a wardrobe (10) having dimensions smaller than or equal to those of a parallelepiped 225 cm high, 160 cm wide and ? 35 cm, encloses these elements minimized in their number, but able to automatically compose, one at a time, a plurality of exercise equipment, such as, but not limited to: shoulder press; Racks; calf machine; Hack squats; Bench presses; chest presses; high row; low row; Belt squats; Crossovers; push downs; pull ups; Parallel; lat machine; Bench ?Scott?; Leg extensions; Leg curls; Leg presses; donkey calf raises; dead lifts; Pulley. 10) Multifunctional gymnastic system (1) according to all the preceding claims, characterized in that ? robotic, that is to say that ? equipped with electronic means and servomechanisms suitable for moving, automatically and under voice command, its mobile parts, such as: the fulcrum (F) of the dashboard (2) and the height of the support means (24) of the latter, when said half has not been already? off.
