- four longitudinal members (6) each shaped to be arranged close to a respective one of said side faces of said package (2) of springs; said four longitudinal members (6) each being stably glued with its own internal surface to said respective side face (5) of said pack (2) of springs.

2. Semi-finished product (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein said four longitudinal members (6) as a whole define a rectangular frame of said pack (2) of springs.

3. Semi-finished product (1) according to the preceding claim wherein each of said longitudinal members (6) has at least one respective end portion? glued to the adjacent spar in said frame.

4. Semi-finished product (1) according to the previous claim wherein it dictates at least one end portion? ? glued to said inner surface of an adjacent side member.

5. Semi-finished product (1) according to any one of the preceding claims wherein said pack of springs has a prevalent development plane characterized in that the development of said pack of springs in a direction perpendicular to said plane ? substantially equal to the development of said side members in the same direction.

6. Semi-finished product (1) according to any one of the preceding claims in which said package (2) of springs comprises springs contained in respective bags characterized in that said internal surface of said longitudinal members (6) is? glued on said bags of said springs.

7. Semi-finished product (1) according to any one of the preceding claims from 1 to 5 in which said pack (2) of springs comprises springs made of filiform material characterized in that said internal surface of said longitudinal members (6)? glued on said filiform material of said springs.

8. Mattress (100) comprising:

- at least one bottom plate (101),

- at least one upper plate (102) e

- a semi-finished product (1) as per the preceding claims from 1 to 7, said semi-finished product (1) being glued to said lower plate (101) and to said upper plate (102).

9. Mattress (100) according to claim 8 wherein said lower plate (101) and said upper plate (102) have a main development plane characterized in that said plates (101, 102) have a surface having the same area as said semi-finished product (1).

10. Mattress (100) according to claim 8 or 9 wherein said semi-finished product (1) is glued to said lower (101) and upper (102) plates at least by means of respectively lower and upper surfaces of said longitudinal members (6).
