The present invention refers to a multifunctional exercise machine.

At the current state of the art, exercise machines are on the market for the development of muscular strength for the lower limbs, through which, during the execution of the physical exercise, the user, with his feet resting on the platform, extends and flexes the lower limbs alternately, cyclically lifting the resistant load.

These devices comprise a base resting on the ground, a platform fixed with respect to the base and a seat associated, by means of a flexible cable, with a resistant load movable with respect to the base along the vertical guides. The resistant load? normally consists of a pack-weights and the session? free to slide on substantially horizontal guides.

Alternatively, machines are also known which obtain the same result by reversing the constraints in the exercise machine, ie? making the seat fixed to the base and the platform mobile in a substantially horizontal direction and associated with the weight stack which acts as a resistant load.

There are also widespread configurations similar to those mentioned, in which the seat, placed substantially perpendicular to the platform, is free to slide on linear guides inclined at approximately 45? compared to the floor. Also in this case, ? already the variant obtained by inverting the constraints is foreseen, therefore with the fixed seat and the sliding platform on linear guides placed inclined with respect to the ground.

A problem common to all these machines? linked to the overall dimensions, which are considerable. Altres?, the weight of such equipment? considerable, above all as a result of the fact that these machines have a large attached weight stack, suitable for training the muscles of the lower limbs.

All of that? makes the exerciser extremely difficult to move and transport.

In reverse, ? a deeply felt need to have handy and compact exercise machines, both to optimize space in the gym and for the need to of movement of tools for maintenance, cleaning or other operations, both for? domestic use for which such machines are increasingly? required.

Another problem of the known devices described above? due to the fact that they provide for a single configuration and therefore cannot provide the user with a wide range of exercises, especially for strengthening other muscles other than those of the lower limbs.

The task proposed by the invention? to eliminate the drawbacks described above in known types of multifunctional exercise machines so as to allow the construction of a compact and easy to handle machine. Within the scope of the aforesaid aim, an aim of the invention is proposed? to create a multifunctional exercise machine, which can be used to train muscles other than those of the lower limbs.

Not the last purpose of the invention ? to produce a multifunctional exercise machine, with easily commercially available means and using commonly used materials, so that the device is economically competitive.

This task, as well as these and other aims which will become clearer hereinafter are achieved by a multifunctional exercise machine according to the invention comprising the technical characteristics disclosed in one or more of the joint claims. The dependent claims correspond to possible different embodiments of the invention.

In particular, in accordance with a first aspect, the present invention relates to a multifunctional exercise machine which comprises a frame provided with at least one substantially flat support surface, suitable for being removably fixed to the ground. The frame? support for at least one guide element, which extends along a substantially normal development direction with respect to the ground. This guiding element? able to be, at least partially, coupled with at least one accessory member.

Advantageously, locking means are provided for the accessory members, so as to make the latter removably connected to the frame.

Preferably, one of the accessory members combinable with the guide elements ? a weight-holder platform, equipped with support pins for gymnastic weights, which ? smoothly moved along the direction of development of the guide elements by the action of the user.

The platform? which can be coupled to the frame 2 by means of tubular elements which can be coupled with the guide elements.

Advantageously, in order to secure the platform to the frame and/or in order to removably associate other accessory members, suitable connection means are provided.

Preferably, these connection means have at least one pair of rods connected to the frame and which extend along the direction of development of the guide elements so that they can be mutually coupled. To this end, these connection means advantageously have at least one coupling seat with the loadable platform and/or with the other accessory members.

Another aspect of the invention? given by the fact that, advantageously, the? framework ? combinable with other accessory members.

Preferably, one of these accessory members comprises a curved member able to be slidably engaged on the guide elements and to be fixed to the frame by the locking means, thus which, well planted in the ground, can be used by the user who, holding the middle part, wants to get off the ground.

Preferably, the accessory member comprises at least two columnar elements capable of being slidably engaged on the connection means and connected to each other by means of a crosspiece which extends substantially normal to the direction of development of the two columnar elements. Said columnar elements are also able to be fixed to the frame by the locking means and act as a support for a balance wheel, which can be loaded with gymnastic weights, which engages with the guide element.

Another aspect of the invention provides that the curved member and the two columnar elements are interconnected by means of removable connection means, so as to form a combined structure and provide alternative exercises to those normally offered to the user. Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become clearer from the description of a preferred but not exclusive embodiment of the multifunctional exercise machine, illustrated for indicative and non-limiting purposes with the aid of the attached drawings in which:

Figure 1 represents a perspective view of the frame 2 of the machine 1 in its basic form which can be combined with accessory members to create all the various configurations useful for performing various exercises; figure 2 represents the frame 2 of figure 1 combined with a platform 10;

figure 3 shows the frame 2 of figure 1 combined with a curved member 20;

figure 4 represents the frame 2 of figure 1 combined with a columnar element 30;

figure 5 represents a combination of the frame 2 of figure 1 combined with the curved member 20 and the columnar element 30.

With reference to the cited figures, ? shown is a preferred embodiment of a multifunctional exercise machine, according to the invention, which is identified in its entirety? with the reference 1 and which comprises a frame 2 provided with at least one support surface 2a, in the preferred embodiment, quadrangular-shaped, substantially flat and to be removably fixed to the ground. The frame 2 ? support for two guide elements 3 placed in a symmetrical position with respect to the axis of symmetry X of the quadrangle formed by the support surface 2a, and extends along a development direction Z substantially normal with respect to the ground. Each of the 3 driving elements features ? able to be, at least partially, coupled with at least one accessory member.

Each of the 3 elements ? provided with limit switch 7 for the accessory members which are slidably coupled onto the guide elements 3 themselves.

Associated with the frame 2 and fixed to the guide elements 3, there are also two pairs of connecting rods 4 with some of the accessory members. The rods 4 are positioned in a substantially mutually symmetrical manner with respect to the axis of symmetry X of the support surface 2a and each rod 4 of each pair ? in turn positioned symmetrically with respect to the other, relative to the direction of development Z.

The rods 4 extend along the development direction Z and each has a seat 4a for coupling with the corresponding accessory member. The first of the accessory members ? a weight-holder platform 10, slidingly connected to the guide element 3 by the action of the user, by means of tubular elements 13 which can be coupled with the guide elements 3.

The platform 10 is engaged manually on the guides 3, after which? ? constrained to scroll vertically. Platform 10? equipped with first pins 11 to be loaded with standardized weight plates.

Seconds pins 11? for weight discs are provided on the tubular elements 13 (fig. 2).

In use, the user, with his back resting on the ground and his feet resting on the platform 10, flexes and extends his legs by exerting a stress on them, moving his weight directly without using cables, pulleys or transmission members.

Advantageously, the support surface 2a allows the exercise to be performed safely without any risk of crushing even in the case of high loads (fig.2).

In a variant embodiment, the accessory member ? a curved member 20, i.e. shaped like a ?U?, provided with two sections 23 which develop along the direction Z, joined by a rod 21 substantially parallel to the ground, able to be slidably engaged on the guide elements 3. The member 20 ? removably fixed to the frame 2 via the limit switches 7, so that it can be gripped by the user to lift his own weight (fig.3).

In other words, member 20 ? mounted manually on the guides 3 up to the limit switch 7. The user, with the machine like this? prepared, can? perform traction exercises by lifting his own weight and stimulating the muscles of the back and upper limbs.

An additional accessory member ? the one reproduced in figure 4 and which comprises two pairs of columnar elements 30 connected to each other by means of a crosspiece 31 which develops in a substantially normal manner with respect to the Z direction and to the direction of development of the columnar elements 30, able to be slidably engaged on the rods 4 , each columnar element 4 can be coupled to the corresponding rod 4.

The elements 30 are fixed to the frame 2. Furthermore, they support a weight-bearing balancer 35, which engages with the guide elements 3, suitable for being loaded with gymnastic weights.

In practice, the columnar elements 30 are inserted manually on the seats 4a of the rods 4. In the same way, two tubular elements 33 which serve to support the rocker arm 35 are inserted manually on the guides 3. prepared it becomes a multifunctional machine. The user can perform guided exercises with the barbell 35 standing up, or lying down by combining a gym bench. You can train both the muscles of the upper and lower limbs, as well as? of back and chest.

Also in this configuration as in figure 2, the machine 1 can? be loaded at will (by loading the balance wheel 35 instead of the platform 10) with standardized weights, remaining in any case in safety thanks to the blocking mechanism with the blocking means provided on the columns 30. With reference to figure 5, ? It is possible to form a combined structure by mounting both the curved member 20 and the columnar elements 30 on the frame 2, and interconnecting them to each other, so as to form a combined structure.

In this configuration, the columnar elements 30 are anchored to the support surface 2a since are inserted on the guides 3. The member 20 is constrained to the columnar elements through a pair of fixing pins 32 positioned on two different columnar elements but at the same height. In the considered example more are foreseen? pairs of pins 32 placed at different heights. In this way, a tilting frame is created which allows various exercises that can be performed by the user: based on the height of the pivot point 32, the operator will be able to train the muscles of the trunk, upper limbs and lower limbs.

Also in this configuration pu? be combined with a bench that allows the user to differentiate the exercises with respect to standing.

Member 20 can? then be loaded with standard weight plates.

From what has been described above it can therefore be seen that the invention achieves the intended aim and objects and in particular it is emphasized that a multifunctional, compact and easy to handle exercise machine is provided. In particular, the possibility to handle all the components effortlessly and to be able to combine them manually, without using tools or mechanical implements, allows easy use of the machine both in the gym, minimizing its encumbrance, and at home.

Furthermore, given that the weight stack is not ? always necessarily bound to the machine, the latter pu? also be used unloading and sar? more easy to move inside the environment in which it will come? used.

In fact, once all the structures have been removed, in the basic configuration, cio? that of the base alone, the machine can? be lifted and moved manually to be stored in a modest space.

Another advantage of such an exercise machine? given by the fact that it, in each configuration, can? also be used ?empty? that is? exploiting the kinematics to oppose the gravitational force but without the increase in weight due to weight plates.

Another advantage of the invention ? that the possible combinations, exemplified in the description given without limitation, also allow the training of muscles other than those of the lower limbs.

Last but not least, the multifunctional exercise machine ? simple to make why? made up of commercial tubular steel profiles welded together to create the various structures that characterize it. Costs and weights for this very reason remain low. The low weight of the whole machine favors a quick and easy assembly and disassembly as well as the exchange between the various components. At the same time, the solidity? and the stiffness are quality? peculiarities and allow the use of considerable weights in performing the various exercises.

The found what? conceived ? susceptible to numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the inventive concept.

Furthermore, all the details may be replaced by other technically equivalent elements.

In practice, the materials used, as well as? the dimensions, can be any according to the needs, as long as? consistent with the implementation purpose.

Claims (10)

1) A multifunctional exercise machine (1) comprising a frame (2) provided with at least one substantially flat support surface (2a) and capable of being removably fixed to the ground; said framework (2) being a support for at least one guide element (3), extending along an extension direction (Z) and capable of being, at least partially, for coupling with at least one accessory member (10, 20, 30). 2) Machinery (1) according to the preceding claim, comprising locking means (7) for said accessory member (10, 20, 30), said locking means (7) having limit switches (7) defined on said at least one of said at least one guiding element (3). 3) Machinery (1) according to claims 1 or 2, comprising connection means (4, 4a) respectively for said accessory member (10, 20, 30), preferably having at least one pair of rods (4) connected to said frame ( 2), extending along said development direction (Z) and having at least one coupling seat (4a) with said accessory member (10, 20, 30). 4) Machinery (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein said connection means (4) comprise two pairs of rods (4) positioned substantially symmetrically with respect to the axis of symmetry (X) of said support surface (2a), each rod (4) of each pair of rods (4) being in turn positioned symmetrically with respect to the other, relative to said development direction (Z). 5) Machinery (1) according to one or more? of the preceding claims, wherein said accessory member (10, 20, 30) comprises a weight holder platform (10) slidingly connected to said at least one guide element (3) by the action of the user, by means of tubular elements (13 ) that can be coupled with said guide elements (3). 6) Machinery (1) according to one or more? of claims 2-5, wherein said accessory member (10, 20, 30) comprises a curved member (20), able to be slidably engaged on said at least one guide element (3) by means of sections (23) and to be fixed to said frame (2) by said locking means (7), so that it can be gripped by the user to lift his own weight. 7) Machinery (1) according to one or more? of claims 3-6, wherein said accessory member (10, 20, 30) comprises at least two columnar elements (30): adapted to be slidably engaged on said connection means (4), connected by means of a cross member (31) extending in a substantially normal direction with respect to the direction of development of said at least two columnar elements (30), adapted to be fixed by said locking means (7), supporting a rocker arm (35) for engagement with said at least one guide element (3) and adapted to be loaded with gymnastic weights. 8) Machinery (1) according to claims 6 and 7, wherein said curved member (20) and said at least two columnar elements (30) are able to be interconnected to each other by means of removable connection means (32), so as to form a combined structure. 9) Machinery (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein said combined structure comprises said at least two columnar elements (30) integrally associated with said support surface (2) and having at least two fixing pins (32) for said curved member ( 20), said at least two fixing pins (32) being positioned substantially at the same height from the ground and each of them being positioned on a respective columnar element (30), so as to form a tilting frame. 10) Gym kit comprising a gymnastic machine according to one or more of claims 1-9 and/or a platform (10) according to claim 5 and/or a curved member (20) according to claim 6 and/or at least two columnar elements (30) according to claim 7 or 8.
