SELF-COLLAPSABLE AND NOT REUSABLE AFTER REMOVAL, DISPOSABLE, BIOCOMPATIBLE, BIODEGRADABLE, COMPOSTABLE, WITH INCREASED PROTECTION, COST-EFFECTIVE, FOR TARGETED USE BY USERS OF HAIRDRESSING, BEAUTY, BEAUTY AND SIMILAR SALONS, AND IN GENERAL DURING ACTIVITIES? OF SHORT AND CONTROLLED DURATION, FOR PERSONAL CARE.

1- DESCRIPTION OF THE STATE OF THE ART

The present invention refers to a protective mask (11, 17, 22) with an accessory visor (31, 33, 34), self-holding, self-collapsing and non-reusable after removal, disposable, biocompatible, biodegradable, compostable, with increased protection, economical, for targeted use by users of hairdressing, beauty, aesthetics and similar salons, and in general during commercial activities. of short and controlled duration, of personal care.

1.1- Greater health attention towards the personal care sector- There are some sectors (such as hairdressing salons, and in general, in all cases in which personal care activities have to be carried out), which, given their particular operational area, will reasonably be increasingly more? affected by the obligation / necessity? to use protections, as well as for themselves (which does not create particular professional impediments), especially for their users. In particular, it is believed that these activities (until now considered less demanding from the point of view of health protection), present some dangerous gaps in technology and work organization, from the point of view of the usual protective means; for this reason it is believed that they will have to be re-evaluated in the light of the recent epidemic evolutions, being the type of human contact imposed between the roles of operator and user, comparable, due to the reciprocal risks it entails, to the activity? nursing and/or medical.

1.2- Need? better protection of the airways - As regards the protection of the airways, the health provisions issued following the recent Covid 19 epidemic situation are oriented towards an intense general use of protective means aimed at preventing the spread of any contaminants; is in fact bringing? general attention, for example, the need? to protect contacts between people through the use of masks 1 (fig. 1).

As known, they exist in many versions, with different dimensions, weights and costs, depending on the degree of sturdiness, filtration, protection, the possibility of reuse, washability, replacement of the filter element, etc; none of which, in our opinion, is in itself? suitable for the protection of users of activities, such as hairdressing salons, and in general, in all cases in which activities must be received? of personal care.

1.3- Need? of possible protection of the eye area- Given the possibility? that, as recently reported by science, also the area of the eyes and/or the conjunctiva can be considered an entry point for contaminating elements, in the light of the specific destination of the present invention, yes? also considered it important to develop an integrated protection system, which included both the presence of a protective mask and a special visor accessory for eye protection; both designed precisely according to the specific intended use.

Characteristics of current protective means, and the needs? own protective devices in the personal care sector-

1.4- Masks and visors: obstacle represented by the connection means - As regards the masks 1 (fig. 1) and the visors 12 (fig. 1), widespread on the market in different versions and with different shapes, weights, degrees of protection , they see for? a contraindication to use in personal care, in the presence of connection means 2 (fig. 1) which are represented by elastic means or bandages, to be wrapped around the users' ears or neck; or, in the case of visors, to be integrated into headgear. Means of connection which, for example in hairdressing salons or the like, represent an evident obstacle to the mutual safety execution of the activities? sanitizing, washing, rinsing, drying, cutting, modeling, hair care and general aesthetics of the person. It is therefore considered necessary, as we will see, to provide connection systems, for example by means of low-intensity adhesive means, to be adhered to the face.

1.5- Need? of greater lateral and upper protection by means of masks and visors - It is also noted that this type of mask, commonly called? surgical?, despite being due to its simplicity? the "P? close to meeting the needs? of the users, it turns out to be suitable for a protection of frontal projections 3 (fig. 1) 4 (fig. 1); in fact, due to the connection system 2 (fig. 1), and/or relative micro-movements and to the respiratory and phonetic action, it presents a persistent non-adherence (of a few millimetres) with respect to the lateral profile of the user's face , what? not to guarantee protection from any accidental lateral projections 6 (fig. 1) and from above 5 (fig. 1). This situation therefore exposes the user and the operator to the risk of contamination, since, for obvious reasons of professional precision, often, between the faces of the operators 7 (fig. 2) and of the users (8, fig. 2), there establishes a proximity 9 (fig. 2) also lateral / superior, of 10 - 20 cm (10 (fig. 2)). In the same way, as we will see, for the same reasons, it is sometimes believed that it is necessary to use an optional visor at the same time, as also protect the face from any risk of contamination during personal care.

1.6- Masks as potential receptacles of harmful elements- At the same time, this type of traditional mask 1 (fig. 1), generally among the most? usable by users, although it is considered as a disposable version, it is often worn more? times throughout the day, in carrying out various activities; activity? which in turn can therefore transform said masks into receptacles for harmful elements, from time to time transported, in our case, also to any hairdressing salon or similar.

1.7- Orientation towards biocompatible, biodegradable, compostable materials- Among the needs? felt in general in our age, the orientation towards the use of biodegradable materials is developing; in this regard, it is considered interesting to foresee that, given the short life required for the mask and any visor referred to in question (a few hours), given the use in a controlled environment (the operator provides it to the user, and it? always present during use, and is therefore able to replace it if necessary), given the need? that it becomes impossible to reuse them, it is considered further interesting that they are produced in certainly robust materials, with the correct degree of protection, both with traditional, biocompatible, biodegradable and compostable materials. In this way, the user, at the end, removes them and places them in the appropriate container of compostable material.

1.8- Need? of ?self-collapsing? masks and visors for effective ?disposable? use - In the light of what has been narrated, for carrying out the activities? of care for the person in conditions of controlled safety, it is therefore considered necessary that the operator, in turn protected in a professional manner, provides the user with a mask and/or a possible visor before each session that have an effective function ? disposable?; that is? that, for example, are self-collapsing, and are automatically damaged during removal at the end of the session, so? precisely to avoid temptations of reuse, and therefore of diffusion of contamination.

State of the art: patents

1.9- Patent US5918598- E? known patent US5918598, 10/04/1998, ?STRAPLESS RESPIRATORY FACIAL MASK FOR CUSTOMIZING TO THE WEARER?S FACE? from the content oriented to the construction of a rather complex mask, completely watertight, applied/glued in a very solid and strong way around the user?s nose, suitable to receive an air supply duct. The project protected therein is aimed at long-term use, for example in an underwater environment, away from the needs of specific medical activities? personal care briefs (?disposable?, need not to be reused, cost-effectiveness, short duration of use, self-collapsing?, biocompatibility?, biodegradability?, compostability?), indicated for this patent application.

1.10- Patent US7152601- There is also patent US7152601, 12/18/2000, ?STRAPLESS RESPIRATORY FACE MASK?

referred to a device with a complex filtering system, with a considerable work area dedicated to defining the characteristics of adhesiveness? of the possible means of connection between the mask and the user's skin. Also in this case, it is believed that this patent, which is invalid among other things, cannot represent an anticipation of the current patent application, except in the aspect of connection. As with the previous patent, it is noted that the project protected therein is aimed at a more widespread use. long term, far from the necessities? specific medical activities? personal care briefs (?disposable?, need not to be reused, cost-effectiveness, short duration of use, autocollapsability?, biocompatibility?, biodegradability?, compostability?), indicated for this patent application.

3- DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

3.1- The present invention ? been developed with the aim of limiting the pi? possible the drawbacks described, thus creating a goggle-visor system having the characteristics described here in detail, specifying that the shape of the products represented here? purely indicative, as they, always remaining within the protection of the present invention, can be made in any form deemed necessary.

3.2- Mask with bi-adhesive connection means - As mentioned, the present mask 11 (fig. 3) has connection means, which are adhesive means 13 (fig. 3, 4), placed on the edge of said mask 11 ( fig. 3), facing the side that will go? in contact with the user?s face. In one of the preferable versions, these adhesive means 13 (fig. 3, 4) precisely comprise one or more? portions of double-sided tape, whose adhesive sides 14 (fig. 4) are, on one side, firmly adjacent to said mask 11 (fig. 4), and, on the opposite side, are protected by a protective film 15 (fig. 4), to be removed when placed on the user's face, similar to the protective films of medical plasters. Said mask 11 (fig. 3) comprises a conformable flexible portion 16 (fig. 3) in the upper central external position, of dimensions such as to wrap around the transversal profile of the nose, up to reaching the beginning of the cheek. In particular, it is observed that the complete adhesion around the area of the nose, ? important, as it prevents the annoying fogging of any glasses, due to the upward flow of breathing gases.

3.3- Complete lateral protection- What about the capacity? protection, said adhesive means 13 (fig. 3, 4), can extend at least along the upper contour and the side contours (and possibly, as we will say, in part or throughout the length of the lower contour), so as to protect increased by the risks of close lateral projections, of which you? mentioned in point 1.5. In particular, for the reasons we will explain, preferably in the lower part of the template 11 (fig. 3), a non-adhesive area 21 (fig. 3) of any shape is provided, for example in the shape of a labyrinth 35 (fig. 17 ), to allow the flow of breathing gases, but to prevent the passage of contaminants. 3.4- Mask with adhesive film connection means - For construction, cost, simplicity? of production, it is envisaged that, in the case of the mask in version 17 (fig.

5), said connection means, can consist of an adhesive film 18 (fig. 5), optionally spread or arranged in closely spaced points on the entire internal surface of the mask 17 (fig. 5); adhesive film 18 (fig. 5) protected by a protective film 19 (fig. 6), to be removed when placing it on the user?s face, similar to the protective films of medical plasters. Film whose distribution on the mask, ? designed so as not to interfere with the degree of filtration of the mask itself; in this case, thanks to the greater adhesion surface on the face available, on equal terms? of protection safety, it becomes possible to use an adhesive film 18 (fig, 5) with lower adhesive characteristics, and therefore more? pleasant to? use and removal, whose capacity? total tightness? guaranteed precisely by the greater adhesion surface.

3.5- Mask with self-collapsing structure - About the necessity? that effective ?disposable? use is possible, as mentioned in point 1.8, ? version 22 was created (fig. 7); the self-collapsing effect is obtained by using adhesive means 23 (fig. 7) with different adhesion strengths, placed on the edge of said template 22 (fig. 7), facing the side that will go? in contact with the user?s face. These adhesive means 23 (fig. 7), comprise two adjacent portions of double-sided tape, a first double-sided adhesive portion 24 (fig. 7), and a second double-sided adhesive portion 25 (fig. 7); the two adhesive sides of which are, on the one hand, adjacent to the inner side of said template 22 (fig. 7), and, on the opposite side, are protected by a protective film 26 (fig. 8), to be removed at the time of placement on the user?s face, similar to the protective films of medical plasters.

The first double-sided adhesive portion 24 (fig. 9), on the side of the user's face, comprises high-intensity adhesive means. adhesion 27 (fig. 9), and, on the side adjacent to the template 22 (fig.

9), includes low intensity adhesive means? adhesion 28 (fig. 9); on the contrary, the second double-sided adhesive portion 25 (fig. 9), on the side of the user's face, comprises low-intensity adhesive means. adhesion 28 (fig. 9), and, on the side adjacent to the template 22 (fig. 9), comprises high intensity adhesive means? adhesion 27 (fig. 9).

3.6- Mask: functioning of the collapsible structure- This difference in adhesion strength, does s? that the mask 22 (fig. 7) has the characteristic of being self-collapsing; in fact, in the removal, the traction force 29 (fig. 10) will lead? to the mutual separation of the two double-sided adhesive portions 24 and 25 (fig. 10), since the first double-sided adhesive portion 24 (fig. 10) will detach? first from the mask 22 (fig. 10) on the face, why? held by the part of the first double-sided adhesive portion 24 (fig. 10) which remained adherent to the face, thanks to the greater intensity? adhesion of the adhesive means 27 (fig. 10). While instead the second double-sided adhesive portion 25 (fig. 10) will detach? first from the face, why? held by the part of the second double-sided adhesive portion 25 (fig. 10) which remained adherent to the template 22 (fig. 10), thanks to the greater intensity? adhesion of the adhesive means 27 (fig. 10) on the template.

At the end of the removal of the mask 22 (fig. 10), the user will complete? the removal of the first double-sided adhesive portion 24 (fig. 7), which remained adherent to the face; to dissuade attempts to join and reuse the parts damaged in the removal, the boundary profile 30 (fig. 7) between the first double-sided adhesive portion 24 (fig. 7) and the second double-sided adhesive portion 25 (fig. 7), ? performed by laser cutting with an interlocking profile, so as to make the rapprochement of the profiles impossible; rapprochement of the profile 30 (fig. 7), gi? in any case not feasible, as it is partially deformed by the calculated self-collapsing effect, due to the traction force 29 (fig. 10).

3.7- Visor, accessory for the protection of the eye area- For the reasons mentioned in point 1.5, ? been devised a means of eye protection, which ? a visor 31 (fig. 11), which comprises at least a thin, possibly translucent or transparent film 32 (fig.

11), to be made to cooperate and adhere, in the lower part, with the external surface of the mask 11 (fig. 3), and, in the upper part, to be made to adhere to the user's forehead; in order to avoid, for example during hair treatment, accidental lateral projections 6 (fig. 1) and from above 5 (fig. 1), onto the face, such as drips, and/or to avoid the infiltration of hair cutting and/or treatment residues between the face and said visor 31 (fig. 11).

3.8- Visor with bi-adhesive connection means - As mentioned, the present visor 31 (fig. 11) has connection means, which are adhesive means 13 (fig. 11, 12), placed on the edge of said visor 31 ( fig. 11, 12), facing the side that will go? in contact with the user?s face. In one of the preferable versions, these adhesive means 13 (fig. 11, 12) precisely comprise one or more? portions of double-sided tape, the adhesive portions 14 (fig. 4) of which are, on one side, firmly adjacent to said visor 31 (fig. 11, 12), and, on the opposite side, are protected by a protective film 15 (fig. 4), to be removed when placed on the user?s face, similar to the protective films of medical plasters.

3.9- Visor with means of? connection with adhesive film- For reasons of construction, cost, simplicity? of production, it is envisaged that, in the case of the visor in the version 33 (fig. 13, 14), said connection means, can be constituted by an adhesive film 18 (fig. 13, 14), possibly spread or arranged at close points on the inner surface of the visor 33 (fig. 13, 14); adhesive film 18 (fig. 6) protected by a protective film 19 (fig. 6), to be removed when placing it on the user's face, similar to the protective films of medical plasters.

3.10- Visor with self-collapsing structure- About the need? that effective ?disposable? use is possible, as mentioned in point 1.8, ? version 34 was created (fig. 15, 16); the self-collapsing effect is obtained by using adhesive means 23 (fig. 15, 16) with different adhesion strengths, placed on the edge of said visor 34 (fig. 15, 16), facing the side that will ? in contact with the user?s face. Said adhesive means 23 (fig. 15, 16) comprise two adjacent portions of double-sided tape, a first double-sided adhesive portion 24 (fig. 16), and a second double-sided adhesive portion 25 (fig. 16); the two adhesive sides of which are, on one side, adjacent to the inner side of said visor 34 (fig. 15), and, on the opposite side, are protected by a protective film 26 (fig. 8), to be removed at the time of placement on the user?s face, similar to the protective films of medical plasters.

3.12- Materials and construction methods: Use of biocompatible, biodegradable, compostable materials, compatible with food use, and welding performed with Laser- As regards the technical and construction characteristics of the mask and visor, we refer to compliance with the same regulations and to the same degrees of protection as per health provisions and related regulations; in summary, as far as materials are concerned, each component is produced both with traditional materials and with biocompatible, biodegradable, compostable materials. The filtering part 20 (fig. 35, 7), produced in TNT (Non Woven Fabric) or similar, or in Mater-Bi fabric if possible; the visor, ? produced in PLA, Polylactic Acid, or in transparent Mater-Bi or similar, which are precisely biodegradable transparent plastics. The double-sided tape and the adhesive, and the inks for writing any sentences, are produced using the materials of compostable labels for food use. As for the processing, the welding of the layers and the finishing of the contours, it is done by Laser. not being therefore pi? present rubber parts (the elastic), and stitching threads, this mask and the relative visor described here, are completely compostable.

3.13? One-piece construction - As regards the evolution of production technologies, it cannot be excluded that the goggles 11, 17, 22 (fig. 3, 5, 7) and the visors 31, 33, 34 (fig. 11, 13, 15), described here, can be produced in a single detail 36 (fig. 18), always protected by the characteristics of the invention claimed here.
