STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE

In the field of photography, the press? for some time devolved to companies that receive orders from photography shops and more and more? often directly from private users.

The order received generally presents a composition made through a computer or smartphone that contains the choice of the product to be printed, the choice of photos and their distribution on the product, such as their layout in a photo book.

It has been estimated that the photographs that are printed on the market today are taken, in 95% of cases, by a smartphone.

It is for this reason that prints ordered via smartphone through design applications are expected to grow 10 times over the next 5 years.

GENERAL INTRODUCTION

According to a first general aspect, the present invention relates to a process for creating products characterized by printed photos in which an application program for product design and at least one device equipped with a display are prepared to show user interface screens of this application program, the method ? characterized by the fact that, through this application program, the following phases are carried out at least partially simultaneously with each other:

In the following we will refer for simplicity? to the creation of a photo book, however the same considerations can be made for the creation of any other product characterized by printed photos, such as for example but not limited to groups of photographs, each printed on its own paper support physically released from the others, commonly called prints, or various other printed products, such as gadgets, tickets, mobile phone covers, fabric items, accessories in any sector, etc.

With reference to Figure 1? illustrated a system for designing and printing a photo book according to a very frequent example in the known technique, indicated as a whole with the reference number 1. The system comprises at least a smartphone 2, or other digital device with which the photographs 10 are taken, and where they are initially stored. The system then comprises a computer 3, or other cloude computing device or environment 4, equipped with higher computing power than the smartphone, into which the photos are downloaded and which acts as a processing center 12. Finally, the system includes at least one company 5 remote book printing with respect to the processing center.

The processing center 12? equipped with a programming that allows you to design the photo book by manually choosing the photos and paginating them, or adapting them to the pagination manually. The manual design takes place by proposing to the user actions in succession between them, such as basically:

In any case, the application program will elaborate? to design the photos in the memory of the smartphone and keep? unchanged photos in the cloud storage. There? it could be useful if the smartphone has installed some storage application that synchronizes it with a cloud storage to transfer the photos taken to it and free memory in the device.
