Claims

CLAIMS 1. A panel structure for forming a door (3) of a piece of furniture, preferably a kitchen cabinet, and comprising: - A panel (5); - A box (6, 7, 8, 9) applied around the perimeter of said panel; - Said box being composed of a base box (6) which is applied in correspondence with the lower side of the panel, two side panels (7, 8) which are applied in correspondence with the two sides of the panel and by an upper box (9 ) which is applied at the upper edge of the panel and which forms a handle (10) made in a single piece with the body of the upper panel, said lateral, upper and lower panels being separate components; - Connection means for connecting said boxes to the panel, preferably in a removable way; - And in which the said panel and the said square (6, 7, 8, 9) are made of metallic material.

The panel structure, according to claim 1, wherein said connection means are in the form of screws (20) or inserts.

The panel structure, according to claim 1 or 2, in which said lower panels (6) and the two side panels (7, 8) each comprise: - A support base (6b) which abuts against the side of the panel to which it is applied and a front wall (6f) which rises from one end of the support base in such a way that said front wall covers a front surface portion (5 ') of the panel (5); - Said front wall comprising one or more holes aligned with one or more holes made in said panel for the insertion of one or more screws (20) or connection inserts.

The panel structure, according to one or more of the preceding claims, in which said lower and side panels have an I-shape in cross-section.

7. The panel structure, according to one or more of the preceding claims, in which said lateral, lower and upper panels are made of brass, preferably comprising an external coating derived from a galvanization.

8. The panel structure, according to one or more of the preceding claims, in which the thickness of said panel is between 4mm and 8mm, preferably 7mm.

The panel structure, according to one or more of the preceding claims, in which said panel is made of aluminum or steel.

10. A piece of furniture, preferably a kitchen piece of furniture, comprising one or more doors according to one or more of the preceding claims.
