Coperchi del tipo sopra indicato sono prodotti e commercializzati da tempo e hanno larga diffusione. Tuttavia, nelle soluzioni note le operazioni di apertura e di chiusura dello sportello non sempre risultano facili ed immediate. Inoltre, la conformazione del coperchio non dà una elevata garanzia contro il rischio di un distacco accidentale del coperchio dal contenitore, con conseguente fuoriuscita indesiderata degli articoli contenuti nel contenitore. Infine, spesso si incontrano problemi nella fabbricazione del coperchio, anche a causa di una insufficiente rigidezza e stabilità geometrica del coperchio. Lo scopo della presente invenzione è quello di superare tutti i suddetti inconvenienti, realizzando in particolare un coperchio del tipo indicato all’inizio della presente descrizione, in cui le operazioni di apertura e di chiusura dello sportello risultino sempre facili ed immediate. Come risulta evidente dalla descrizione che precede, il coperchio secondo l’invenzione è caratterizzato da una maggiore semplicità ed immediatezza di utilizzo rispetto alle soluzioni attualmente presenti in commercio. Le operazioni di apertura e chiusura dello sportello sono agevolate dalla presenza della posizione di punto morto e dal segnale di identificazione presente in corrispondenza del punto della parete del coperchio sul quale si deve esercitare una pressione per innescare il meccanismo di apertura dello sportello. Inoltre, le alette diagonali situate in adiacenza dei vertici del coperchio riducono al minimo il rischio di un eventuale distacco accidentale del coperchio dal contenitore, con conseguente fuoriuscita degli articoli in esso contenuti. Claims

CLAIMS 1. Lid (4) for a container (2) for hygienic or cosmetic articles, in particular for cotton buds (3), comprising a body of plastic material including: - a main wall (5), in which an opening (6) is formed for the extraction of items contained in the container (2), - a door (8) formed in one piece with the lid (4) and connected in an articulated manner adjacent to a first edge (7) of said opening (6), so as to be movable between a closed position and a position open, - said opening (6) having a second edge (12), opposite to said first edge (7), which centrally has at least one engaging portion (13) of the door (8) to hold the door (8) in its closed position, said engaging portion (13) being able to be disengaged by exerting a pressure on the adjacent part of the lid wall (4), - said lid (4) also comprising a peripheral edge protruding from the internal surface (15) of the lid (4) and including two opposite side walls (16) and two opposite end walls (17), characterized in that the articulated connection of the door (8) is made by means of separate connection portions (9, 10, 11) articulated to the lid (4) around non-coincident axes (a, b), in such a way that during the opening of the door (8), the door (8) tends to move by itself towards its open position once it has passed a dead center position, while during the closure of the door (8), the door (8) tends to move by itself towards its closed position once it has passed said dead center position.

Lid (4) according to claim 1, characterized in that the hinged connection of the door (8) is made by means of a main connection portion (9) hinged to the lid (4) around a first axis (a) and two auxiliary connection portions (10, 11) arranged on the two sides of the main connection portion (9) and spaced from it, said auxiliary connection portions (10, 11) being articulated to the cover (4) around a second axis (b ), which does not coincide with said first axis (a).

Lid (4) according to claim 2, characterized in that the main connecting portion (9) and the two auxiliary connecting portions (10, 11) are articulated to an end wall (17) of the lid (4 ).

Lid (4) according to claim 1, characterized in that the outer surface of the main wall (5) of the lid (4) has a protuberance (18) adjacent to the central part of said first edge (7) of the opening ( 6) of the lid (4), configured and arranged in such a way that when the door (8) is held in its closed position by said at least one engaging portion (13), the protuberance (18) is elastically compressed by one of said connecting portions (9, 10, 11), while when a disengagement of the aforementioned engaging portion (13) is caused, the protuberance (18) acts as a spring which pushes the door (8) away from the closed position.

Lid (4) according to claim 1, characterized in that the internal surface (15) of the main wall (5) of the lid (4) has, at each of the four corners of the lid (4), a flap diagonal (19) which has lateral edges slightly spaced from the adjacent walls of the peripheral edge (16, 17) of the lid (4), so that the lid (4) can be mounted on a container (2) by fitting the walls of the container (2) ) between the aforementioned diagonal tabs (19) and the walls of the peripheral edge (16, 17) of the lid (4).

6. Lid (4) according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the peripheral edge of the lid (4) is made without sharp edges, ie with a rounded, non-cutting profile, at least in the area of the door joint (8).
