Ancora più nello specifico, la presente invenzione si riferisce ad un particolare tipo di guaina protettiva per le unghie delle dita di mani e piedi. Le cure oncologiche, sia la radioterapia che la chemioterapia possono avere effetti collaterali che colpiscono in modo importante anche cellule sane del corpo, in particolare la pelle e tutte le cellule a struttura cheratinica. Fortunatamente, i danni alle cellule sane sono solitamente temporanei e dopo la sospensione della terapia, queste cellule possono tornare a riprodursi. Sono noti, infatti, apparati medici costituiti da particolari guaine che avvolgono le dita o indumenti come guanti o calzini ottenuti in materiali specifici che svolgono solo un’azione termoregolatrice. Benché dallo stato dell’arte si evincano diversi sistemi applicabili localmente alle dita per preservarle da vari tipi di shock, si tratta di soluzioni create ad hoc per rispondere a problematiche relative ad altri campi come lo sport, la musica o precise attività artigianali, che sono state fino ad oggi riadattate alla meglio per rispondere alle esigenze del nostro problema. Tra le criticità riscontrate nei trovati dell’arte nota fin qui analizzata, rileviamo i disagi conseguenti all’utilizzo di materiali non adatti ad essere indossati ininterrottamente per un lungo periodo di tempo (giorni interi), oppure la limitazione nei movimenti dovuta all’eccessiva rigidità del dispositivo che era stato progettato per scopi differenti e non prevedeva l’utilizzo in azioni quotidiane. Claims

CLAIMS 1. Protective thimble (1) for nails characterized by the fact of including: A) at least one ergonomic outer sheath (2) with a substantially cylindrical shape which reproduces the generic shape of any finger (30) of a hand or foot of a human being; said sheath (2) being constituted by a distal portion (3) and a proximal portion (3.3); said distal portion (3) being in turn constituted by an external surface (3.1) and an internal surface (3.2); said external surface (3.1) being made of any natural or synthetic polymer having characteristics of stiffness and non-deformability; B) at least one rigid element (5) delimiting at the bottom said external surface (3.1) of said distal portion (3), said rigid element (5) being able to create a gap (5.1) between the internal surface (3.2) of the portion distal (3) of said protective thimble (1) and the nail (30 ') of the finger (30) wearing the protective thimble (1); since said rigid element (5) is positioned near the root of the nail (30 ') and in such a way as to ensure that the interspace (5.1) remains in any case corresponding to the underlying area to be protected, that is, to the entire surface of the 'nail (30') and at least part of the respective fingertip; C) at least one elastic portion (6), placed in correspondence with the proximal portion (3.3) of said sheath (2); said elastic portion (6) being adapted to stabilize each protective thimble (1) to the finger (30) of the hand or foot that wears it.

2. Protective thimble (1) for nails, according to the previous claim 1, characterized by the fact that the rigid element (5) is made of any hypoallergenic plastic polymer for the human epidermis.

Protective thimble (1) for nails, according to any one of the preceding claims 1 or 2, characterized in that said sheath (2) is made of at least any thermally insulating and transpiring natural or synthetic polymer.

Protective thimble (1) for nails, according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said sheath (2) is equipped, on its external surface (2.1), with at least one pocket (11) suitable for receiving an insert made by at least one of the following: - a cooling element; - a heating element; - a medical remedy; - a cosmetic; said insert being able to perform its function on the finger (30) wearing it by filtering through the sheath (2).

5. Protective thimble (1) for nails, according to any one of the preceding claims from 1 to 3, characterized in that it consists only of the distal portion (3) of said sheath (2) so as to exclusively cover the nail phalanges of the fingers (30).

Protective glove (10) for nails, characterized in that it comprises at least one sheath (2), according to any one of the preceding claims 1 to 4, integrated in at least one of the fingers of the glove (10).

Protective glove (10) for nails, according to the preceding claim 6, characterized in that it is equipped with a lateral fastening system (21) designed to facilitate the user to wear said glove (1) avoiding contact between the surface inside of said glove (10) and the nails (30 ') of the hand.

Protective sock (20) for nails, characterized in that it comprises at least one sheath (2), according to any one of the preceding claims 1 to 4, integrated in at least one of the toes of the sock (20).

Protective sock (20) for nails, characterized in that it consists entirely of a sheath (2), according to any one of the previous claims from 1 to 4 capable of including the entire foot of a user; said distal portion (3) of said sheath (2) which constitutes said sock (20) being provided with a semi-ellipsoid shape (22) such as to simultaneously cover all the toes of one foot.

Protective sock (20) for nails, according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is equipped with a lateral fastening system (23) adapted to facilitate the user to wear said sock (20) avoiding contact between the internal surface of said sock (20) and the nails (30 ') of the foot.
