La presente divulgazione riguarda un particolare dispositivo di protezione del catetere di “Tenckhoff”, sistema di catetere peritoneale utilizzato per le terapie di dialisi peritoneale, e della rispettiva emergenza cutanea (punto di uscita del catetere daH'addome). Ad oggi la gestione del catetere e dell’emergenza cutanea durante le operazioni di igiene personale come doccia e bagno, e dunque la prevenzione delle infezioni e di potenziale peritonite, si realizza attraverso due differenti modalità. Queste difficoltà inducono il soggetto a rinunciare alle operazioni di pulizia personale, o ad attuarle in modi più difficoltosi che ne precludono i risultati. Il dispositivo trovato, caratterizzato dal doppio sistema di adesione al corpo “fisso” e “mobile” garantisce efficacia di utilizzo e solidità nell’applicazione. Claims

CLAIMS 1. Mobile protection system of the peritoneal catheter and cutaneous emergency (exit-site) for dialysis with protection consisting of a tubing open at one end and closed at the opposite end in flexible and waterproof material, an attachment system to the fixed abdomen, a mobile donut attachment system of sufficient size to contain the entire exit site dressing.

2. Protection according to the previous claim, characterized by the fact that the first fixed attachment system is installed on the initial part of the pipe where the catheter is inserted and the attachment to the abdomen is made using an adhesive material or similar in function.

3. Protection according to the preceding claims, characterized in that the mobile attachment system consists of a ring that slides on the initial part of the pipe, rigid, between a rest position (with protection not attached to the abdomen) and a position of adhesion (a protection attached to the abdomen).

4. Protection according to the preceding claims, characterized in that the mobile attachment system according to claim 3, in the rest position, is blocked by a stop which does not allow it to slide over the part of the pipe made of flexible material.

8. Protection according to the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that the attachment of the donut to the abdomen takes place through adhesive material or similar in function.

9. Protection according to the preceding claims, characterized in that in the sliding section between the ring (according to the claim referred to in point 3) and the initial rigid part of the pipe is placed some absorbent spongy material.

10. Protection according to the previous claims, characterized by the fact that the outermost part of the donut is connected to the base of the rigid component of the pipe at the height of the stops referred to in claim 4 by means of flexible waterproof material.

11. Protection according to the preceding claims which, to improve adhesion to the body, can be equipped with a belt connected to the initial rigid part of the pipe.

12. Protection according to the preceding claims in which the component can be constructed in different embodiments which, however, refer to the same inventive core and to the particularity of the double device for adhesion to the abdomen (fixed and mobile in the shape of a donut) and to the inner lining of the donut (bilayer, absorbent and disinfectant).
