Abstract

The movable head (26) of an automatic manipulator (10) is provided with a tool holder that receives at least two independent take-up units (32,34). The movable head rotates about a first axis and moves in a work space. The tool holder of the head has two tool attachment seats which are arranged on the opposite side of the first axis and rotate on a common axis orthogonal to the first axis. The automatic manipulator is movably attached to an automatic bending press (46). The automatic bending press includes a pair of bending tools (48,50) that cooperate with each other. An independent claim is also included for an automatic manipulator.
