Fungicidal composition comprises: (a) (N-phenylacetyl-N-2,6-xylyl)methyl alaninate of formula (I), >50% being the laevorotatory enantiomorph; (b) one or more fungicide comprising cymoxanil, fosetyl, metalaxyl, oxadixyl, ofurace, fluazinam, (E)-2-(2-((6-(2-cyanophenoxy)-pyrimidin-4-yloxy)-phenyl-3-methyl methoxyacrylate, (E)-methoxyimino-alpha -o-tolyloxy)-o-tolyl)methyl acetate, N-methyl-(E)-methoxyimino-(2-(2,5-dimethyl-phenoxymethyl)phenyl)acetamide, N-methyl-(E)-methoxyimino-(2-phenoxyphenyl)-acetamide, O-(1-methylethyl)-N-(2-methyl-1-(((1-(4-chlorophenyl)-ethyl)-amino)-carbonyl)-propyl)-carbamate, O-(1-methylethyl)-N-(2-methyl-1-(((1-(4-methylphenyl)-ethyl)-amino)-carbonyl)-propyl)-carbamate, O-(1-methylethyl)-N-(2-methyl-1-(((1-(4-ethylphenyl)-ethyl)-amino)carbonyl)-propyl)-carbamate, O-(1-methylethyl)-N-(2-methyl-1-(((1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-ethyl)-amino)-carbonyl)-propyl)-carbamate, O-(phenyl)-N-(2-methyl-1-(((1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-ethyl)-amino)-carbonyl)-propyl)-carbamate, thiram, propineb, anilazine, dichlofluanid, tolylfluanid, captan, folpet, chlorothalonil, dimethomorph, flumetover, dithianon, tetraconazole, propiconazole, triadimefon, triadimenol, bitertanol, etridiazole, pencycuron, hymexanol, protiocarb, propamocarb, salts of copper I or copper II, andoprom, famoxadone, 4-methyl-4-phenyl-1-(phenylamino)-2-methylthio-imidazolidin-5-one, pyrimidinic compounds (such as cyprodinil, mepanipyrim and pyrethanil), methylbenzothiadiazole-7-thiocarboxylate or a compound of formula (II), (III), (IV) or (V): M = Mn or Zn; R1, R2 = H or 1-3C alkyl; or R1+R2+the hydantoinic ring forms a 3-7C saturated spiro ring; R3, R4 = (different from each other) 1-3C alkyl, Ph (optionally substituted by halo, NO2, 1-3C alkoxy or 1-3C haloalkyl) or 3-iodopropynyl; R1a, R3a = halo or 1-4C alkyl; R2a = 1-4C alkyl, 2-4C alkenyl, 2-6C alkynyl, 1-4C alkoxy or CN; R4a, R5a = halo or 1-4C alkyl; provided that at least one of R4a and R5a = 2-4C alkyl; X = halo, thiocyano or isothiocyano; z, w = 1-2; A = NR'-CH(Ra')-CO; Ra' = 3-4C alkyl or 3-4C cycloalkyl; R' = H or 1-3C alkyl; or Ra'+R' = 3-5C alkylene; B = NR''-CH((CH2)n-Rb')-(CH2)m-CO; Rb' = Ph or aromatic heterocycle (optionally substituted); m, n = 0-1; R'' = H or 1-3C alkyl; L = X-E(R1b)(R2b); E = 1-8C alkylene, 2-8C omega -oxoalkyl or a bond; R1b = H, 3-6C cycloalkyl or optionally substituted Ph or aromatic heterocycle; R2b = H, 2-6C carboxyalkyl, 2-6C carbamoyl, 2-6C carbamoyl or CN; Xb = O, NR3c or N(R4c)O; R3c = H or 1-3C alkyl or alkoxy; or R1b+R3c = a bond or 2-4C alkylene; R4c = H or 1-3C alkyl; or R1b+R4c = a bond; K = H, 1-4C alkyl or CO-Y-M'(R5)(R6); Y = O or a bond; M' = 1-8C alkylene, a bond or 3-8C cycloalkylene; R5 = H, CN, 1-6C carboalkoxy, 3-6C cyclocarboalkoxy, 2-6C carbamoyl, 3-6C cyclocarbamoyl or optionally substituted Ph; R6 = H, 1-3C alkoxy, acetate or acetamidic group.
