Abstract

The machine (1) has two conveyor belt systems (7,8) which make up the entire track (P). The track has two sections (33,36), the first (33) on which the objects (2) are placed intermittently. On the second section (36), the objects are lined up for further processing, e.g. wrapping or packing, by the pick up mechanism (5). The objects are moved from on section to the other by a pair of transfer rollers (15,25) above the conveyor belt surface. The machine has a broad metal plate onto which objects dislodged from the conveyor can fall for later reclamation.
