Abstract
System for approach and landing of aircraft on airfields in conditions of prohibitive visibility due to fog. It is part of the present widespread ILS (Instrumental Landing System) when, having reached the minimum level of category II (minimum category II: 100 foot level and 350 meters visibility), it is not possible to continue with the landing by visual means.
