Abstract
Viene descritto un processo per la solubilizzazione di minerale di cromo ossidativa alcalina mediante - miscelazione di minerale di cromo a particelle fini con composti alcalini,- riscaldamento della miscela nel tubo rotante a riscaldamento indiretto a temperature da 800 a 1.200°C,- introduzione di ossigeno o di gas arricchiti di ossigeno in controcorrente rispetto alla miscela nel quale - la miscela costituita da minerale di cromo e composto alcalino viene suddivisa in un gran numero di correnti,- ognuna delle correnti viene alimentata in un rispettivo tubo rotante riscaldato in modo indiretto,- dove la molteplicità dei tubi rotanti è riunita nella forma di un fascio tubiero,- la lunghezza teorica del percorso delle particelle di miscela attraverso il tubo rotante ha un valore da 5 a 30 m e - ne risulta un carico medio della superficie interna del tubo rotante da 1 a 5 kg di miscela m2.(Fig. 2).
