Abstract
The connector is made for the primary purpose of eliminating all the types of elastomer O-ring seals, permitting secure coupling of the flexible pipe (fig. B), and making a dynamic joint as an effect of the natural expansion of the pipe (fig. B), producing an extremely economical and versatile product, which can be integrated with all types of flexible pipe and existing connectors. This is obtained by fitting the pipe on the connector which, previously formed (figs. A-B), creates the mechanical fastening and tight seal; the principle is based on the reduction/constriction of the pipe and on the residual elasticity of the same, as well as on the thrust of the air, gas, or fluid which is conveyed and constrained in the flexible pipe (fig. B). The main field of application is in pneumatics. <IMAGE>
