Abstract
Un procedimento per ottenere ortesi funzionali comprende quattro fasi: una prima fase consiste nella realizzazione di modelli di legno i quali sono progettati in base allo studio della conformazione della gamba, del braccio e dell'avambraccio di un campione di popolazione di soggetti normali e prendendo in considerazione vari parametri; una seconda fase che prevede la realizzazione di modelli in resina epossidica basati sui modelli di legno; una terza fase che consiste nella realizzazione di stampi metallici, sui quali sono ricavate impronte femmine con frese a copia guidate dai modelli di resina; le impronte femmine formando le superfici esterne delle ortesi, le cui superfici esterne sono definite da maschi disposti all'interno degli stampi; i maschi essendo mobili per agevolare l'estrazione delle ortesi dagli stampi; gli stampi essendo destinati ad essere inseriti in presse ad iniezione diretta; una quarta fase consistente nello stampaggio a iniezione delle ortesi.A procedure for obtaining functional orthoses includes four phases: a first phase consists in the realization of wooden models which are designed on the basis of the study of the conformation of the leg, arm and forearm of a sample of normal population and taking consider various parameters; a second phase which involves the creation of epoxy resin models based on the wooden models; a third phase which consists in the realization of metal molds, on which female impressions are obtained with copy cutters guided by the resin models; the female footprints forming the external surfaces of the orthoses, the external surfaces of which are defined by males arranged inside the molds; the males being movable to facilitate the extraction of the orthoses from the molds; the molds being intended to be inserted in direct injection presses; a fourth phase consisting of the injection molding of the orthoses.
