Abstract

A new pharmaceutical form which is intended for oral administration and is designed for the treatment of ulcerous gastro-duodenal conditions and associated conditions is described. This pharmaceutical form comprises a tablet having two or three layers of which one contains an active ingredient whose action is mainly to protect the gastric and oesophageal mucosa, one contains a specifically anti-ulcer substance, such as a drug inhibiting H2 receptor, and possibly a third which may contain a substance having predominantly antacid activity.
