Abstract
E' descritto un metodo che prevede dì investire la calzatura con fasci di luce da due lati della stessa, di rilevare su rispettivi lati opposti una molteplicità di punti del bordo dell'ombra proiettata dalla calzatura e di ricavare, dalla posizione di tali punti rilevati e dalle caratteristiche geometriche dei fasci di luce, il profilo della calzatura nel piano della suole. Per ottenere il profilo di una calzatura in lavorazione in modo automatico utilizzando questo metodo, è descritto un apparecchio che comprende dei mezzi per far passare la calzatura per un piano di rilevamento e due dispositivi (16, 19) fotoelettrici, disposti nel piano di rilevamento e costituiti da emettitori di luce (16a, 16b, 19a, 19b) e da ricevitori di luce (16c, 19c) attivati ed esplorati in successione.
