Abstract
The subject of the invention is a locking device for rotating tool systems consisting a number of component parts, in particular for connecting a basic part housed in the main spindle of the machine tool and a connecting part produced as an adaptor or as an extending part or as a tool, where the basic part, possibly carrying a locking spigot, has on one of its front sides a supporting surface arranged essentially in a position perpendicular to the axis of rotation and a coaxial tapered hole, while the connecting part, on its front face adjacent to the basic part, is also produced with a supporting surface arranged essentially in a position perpendicular to the axis of rotation and a coaxial tapered centring pin inserted in the tapered hole, in which the tapered hole and the tapered centring pin are machined with different conical aperture angles and these, by means of a releasable locking mechanism, can be locked together concentrically with elastic deformation whereby the supporting surfaces of the basic part and the connecting part can be locked together in an axial direction along a circular ring. The principle of the invention consists in the fact that the conical aperture angle 13 of the inside taper of the tapered hole 6 is less by a certain angular value than the conical aperture angle 14 of the outside taper of the tapered centring pin 12 and in the tapered centring pin 12 a coaxial internal taper 17 is machined that ensures, over the whole length of the mating tapered surfaces, a constant common deformation in which the direction of the taper of the internal taper 17 coincides with the taper of the outside taper of the tapered centring pin 12 while its length is greater than the length of the mating tapered surfaces (figure 1). <IMAGE>
