Abstract
A mono- or heterochromatic water-based painting composition in the form of a gel having exceptional lustre, plays of light, changes in luminosity according to the angle of observation, special suggestive and decorative effects with surprising uniformity and dispersability properties, whose viscosity can be varied at will in relation to the type of application desired, is described. The innovative effect is achieved by adding a suitable quantity of film-forming and thickening material to the composition, such as by the addition of a particular metal salt and keeping the ratio between sodium hexametaphosphate and aluminium sulphate between 1:2 and 2:1. The new painting composition can be applied by spray, brush or roller.
