Un profilato fermavetro (1) per serramenti (S) metallici in generale, comprende un semiprofilato di supporto (5) fissato rimovibilmente ad esempio mediante grani (18) oppure altri mezzi di tipo convenzionale, al relativo serramento (S); sul semiprofilato di supporto (5) è montato elasticamente a scatto un semiprofilato di copertura (6).Il profilato fermavetro (1) così ottenuto risulta essere, vantaggiosamente, molto sicuro al fine di mantenere stabilmente bloccato nel serramento il vetro (V) e, nel contempo, anche facile da smontare dal serramento stesso, semplicemente rimuovendo dapprima il semiprofilato di copertura (6) e successivamente quello di supporto (5).
