Il dispositivo per la realizzazione di intagli in nastri di materiale per involucri del tipo a rottura guidata comprende almeno un rullo di rinvio (2) motorizzato, un dispositivo di taglio (5) ed un rullo di contrasto (69 girevoli attorno ad assi tra loro paralleli e perpendicolari alla direzione di avanzamento di un nastro (4) di materiale per involucri, il dispositivo di taglio (5) ed il rullo di contrasto (6) essendo disposti da bande opposte rispetto al nastro (4); il rullo di contrasto (6) è cinematicamente collegato ad un dispositivo motore (7) in grado di portarlo in rotazione attorno al suo asse alla stessa velocità tangenziale del dispositivo di taglio (5) almeno durante la fase di taglio in cui il rullo di contrasto (6) stesso ed il dispositivo di taglio (5) vengono a contatto reciprocamente.(Figura 3)
