Abstract

Un metodo ed un'apparecchiatura per identificare automaticamente bersagli in immagini sonar (30) utilizzano tre sistemi di elaborazione (31) che funzionano preferibilmente contemporaneamente. Dopo che l'immagine è stata filtrata e trasformata secondo Fourier un rivelatore di zone di massima luce e di zone d'ombra (29) classifica parti dell'immagine come zona di massima luce, zona d'ombra o sfondo in funzione dei livelli di grigio dei pixela in tali parti. Un informatore statistico (26) sceglie quelle parti che sono state classificate come zone di massima luce o ombre. Una rete neurale (27) classifica quindi le serie di prospetti delle zone di massima luce e d'ombra come bersagli o sfondo.
