Abstract
A liquid composition for delivering photochromatic compounds to a transparent substrate of thermohardening plastics material, comprising, in parts by weight per total weight of the composition: - from 2 to 5 parts of at least 1 photochromatic compound, - from 80 to 98 parts of a agent acting as a vehicle selected from the group comprising: a) silicone oils having a repeating (RmSiO(4-m)/2)n unit where: m is a whole number between 1 and 3, n is a whole number between 5 and 150, r is CH3, C2H5, C6H5, b) a mixture including polyethylene glycol and ethylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate, and similar fluids which are thermally stable up to 200 degree C and have a kinematic viscosity of between 10 and 250 mm<2>/s at 20 degree C.
