Procedimento utilizzante materiale ad elevato peso specifico come prodotti ferrosi di scarto di acciaierie, comprendente una prima fase in cui tale materiale viene tutto macinato con grana grossolana e inumidito con acqua, in modo da ottenere una polvere asciutta o parzialmente inumidita; una seconda fase in cui tale polvere viene essiccata e successivamente raffreddata; una terza fase in cui la polvere viene vagliata per separare i grani della grandezza richiesta da quelli di grana diversa, che vengono nuovamente macinati, recuperati e stivati assieme ai precedenti; una quarta fase in cui la polvere viene pressata e spazzolata superficialmente; ed una quinta fase in cui su tale polvere pressata viene sovrainiettato un guscio di protezione con le stesse forma e dimensioni del contrappeso, che viene poi applicato alla vasca delle macchine lavatrici.
