Abstract

A self-erecting crane with ballast counter-arm of the type comprising a base above which a tower is supported, said tower being extensible in several portions, envisaging a rotating fifth wheel at the top of which a loading arm and a ballast counter-arm are constrained in articulation, there being flexible ties on at least portions of the loading arm and of the ballast counter- arm, in which the loading arm and the ballast counter-arm are hinged on a top plate of the rotating fifth wheel by elements controlling folding and unfolding from a flanked position parallel to the tower to a position perpendicular to the tower itself and vice versa.
