Dispositivo di accompagnamento automatico per strumenti musicali elettronici comprendente un mezzo per generare informazioni che indichino il tipo di accordo da produrre; un mezzo per generare informazioni indicanti il nome dell'altezza della nota fondamentale di tale accordo; un mezzo per generare informazioni indicanti il nome dell'altezza della nota di basso di tale accordo; ed un mezzo per generare informazioni dei pattern di accompagnamento per fornire informazioni dei contenuti corrispondenti all'informazione del tipo di accordo, all'informazione della nota fondamentale ed all'informazione della nota di basso dell'accordo; le informazioni di pattern di accompagnamento comprendono informazioni relative a note di accordo indicando, come nota di accordo, note con nome di altezza uguali ad una delle note dell'accordo ed informazioni di note di non accordo indicando come note di non accordo note con nome di altezza diverso dalle note dell'accordo, ed in cui le informazioni delle note di accordo vengono trasformate cambiando il nome di altezza musicale con quello della nota più bassa dell'accordo.
