Il presente trovato concerne una macchina stiratrice a vapore, in particolare per uso domestico.La macchina comprende una caldaia (1), per la produzione di vapore, nella quale sono presenti due resistori (R1) e (R2) che sono alimentati elettricamente in modo separato, nonchè un ferro da stiro (2) che presenta un resistore (R3) che assorbe la stessa potenza elettrica del resistore (R2); è previsto un commutatore elettrico (C1) che, a comando, collega all'alimentazione elettrica o il secondo resistore (R2) della caldaia o il resistore (R3) del ferro da stiro.
