Abstract

Radio telefono portatile (1) atto ad avere collegata amovibilmente ad esso una batteria ricaricabile compatta (2) scelta da almeno due tipi diversi di batteria, ad esempio una versione ad alta e una versione a bassa energia rispettivamente. La batteria (2) è dotata di un resistore (7) identificante il tipo di batteria ed il telefono è dotato di un accessorio (10, 11, 13) sensibile al valore della resistenza (7) per determinare il tipo di batteria presente. Pertanto è possibile adottare un regime di carica adatto compatibile con il tipo di batteria. La batteria comprende una pluralità di celle ricaricabili allungate (3) disposte in relazione fianco a fianco entro un alloggiamento (5). L'alloggiamento (5) che è atto a racchiudere le celle in modo intimo nella direzione laterale, fornisce pure una cavità interna (5a) adiacente alle estremità della cella (3) accogliente il resistore identificatore (7).
