Abstract

This invention refers to a hinge for over doors for electric and gas cookers, microwave ovens or similar. The hinge comprises a frame which can be associated in an integral manner with a door and which houses a pin integral with it which is associated in an oscillating manner with a lever which extends outside the frame to engage itself in a slot defined laterally to the opening of the cooker to close with the door. The aforesaid frame can oscillate with respect to the lever, in contract to or as a result of the action of a first spring means of return, around the point which defines an axis of rotation for the door. The aforesaid lever is hinged to a tie rod, the other end of which is associated with the first spring means of return and this tie rod is fitted with means of support which slide on the inside of the frame in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of the pin. <IMAGE>
