Abstract
An apparatus for desalinization of sea water and/or brackish water, comprising a filtration unit F and a permeation unit PV fed by a pump at high pressure P2 for production of fresh water sent to a discharge U1 and water rich in salts sent to unloading U2, and comprising an electrolytic cell EC, fed with water coming from the filtration unit F and/or the permeation unit PV, which carries out partial electrolysis of sodium chloride present in the sea water to produce sodium hypochlorite, which is at least partly recycled upstream of the filtration unit F and/or at least partly sent to the output U3 for its use outside of the apparatus. The invention also concerns a related desalinization process. <IMAGE>
