Abstract
The invention concerns pharmaceutical compositions based on calcitonin in aqueous solution at pH lying between 3.5 and 4.5, comprising: a calcitonin, alkyl esters of p-hydroxybenzoic acid, monobasic tromethamine citrate, monobasic meglumine citrate and citric acid in defined proportions. These compositions are particularly suitable for application to the nasal mucosa.
