Abstract
This invention relates to the pharmaceutical technology sector and is designed to prevent the use of a syringe more than once. This objective is accomplished by providing a (ring- shaped) seat (Fig. 1/d-e) in the body of the syringe (Fig. 1/i) to receive hooks (Fig. 1/c) which immobilize the piston (Fig. 1/a) once the first injection has been performed, thus preventing it from being refilled with liquid and in addition to this, if forced aspiration is attempted, the piston (Fig. 1/a) detaches from the connecting rod (Fig. 1/b). The purpose of this invention is to prevent the exchange of syringes between drug addicts who can infect themselves with serious infectious diseases through the use of used syringes which have not been sterilized. <IMAGE>
