Abstract

A folding gangplank for boats comprises at least two portions 3, 6; 7 hinged together to assume a folded position and an open position; the first 3 of the portions that form the gangplank consists of a section of the boat's rail or bulwark 2 hinged to the boat itself and fitted with first actuating means 5 for causing the said portion 3 to adopt a folded position and a use position; the said first portion being hinged at B-B to a second portion 6 that can be housed within the first portion in a position of non-use, and actuating means 11 being provided for rotating the said two portions 3, 6 with respect to each other.
