Abstract

Glass wall panels are constructed comprising a support metal section (2) onto which a single-sheet pane (L), or double-sheet pane with intermediate insulating chamber, is fixed by glueing. after forming a perfectly smooth adhesion surface with a superficial covering layer (P) on the support section by melting material. The pane is fixed onto the surface with silicone adhesive. The superficial covering layer is formed by melting metal applied by plasma spray or by melting a vitreous enamel layer, the material of the layer having a chemical affinity with the silicone adhesive.
