Abstract

A compsn. suitable for lining a pipe or sewer comprises (1) 20-50 (25-45) wt.% epoxy resin + hardener, (2) 2-20 (4-15) wt.% hydraulic cement and (3) 30-60 (35-55) wt.% particulate inorganic fillers. Pref. the epoxy resin is a water-dilutable normally liquid epoxy resin and pref. the compsn. has a tensile modulus of 150,000-400,000 MPa. The compsn. contains C fibres and dealigned fibres The inorganic particulate filler comprises fractions in the 1-50 microns, and in the 50-500 microns size ranges, these fractions comprising 30-80 wt.% and 5-40 wt.% of the total quantity of inorganic filter respectively.
