Abstract

A motor vehicle transmission with a continual speed changer that has a drive shaft connected to the engine and a drive shaft connected by the first toothed clutch to a motor transmission unit to the vehicle's engine wheels. A second toothed clutch is mounted in the change drive shaft that works with a reverse gear counter shaft connected to vehicle's engine wheels' motor transmission unit. The second toothed clutch can be selectively moved between being disengaged and engaged with the counter shaft so that when the second clutch is inserted the transmission unit is put into operation for reversing without passing through the continual speed changer.
