Abstract

The wire saw has a wire wound around a number of the multigrooved rollers in turns in rows. The wire is reciprocated between the multigrooved rollers because of reversible rotation of it and fed gradually from a feeding side to a recovery side thereby to cut a work with the wire portion moving between the rollers. The multigrooved rollers are fixed to the rotational member to which back-and-forth rotation is given by a drive mechanism with a fixed axis in such a manner as to swing the wire between the multigrooved rollers so as to cut a work. Fixed rollers and movable rollers, over which a wire is extended in turns, are disposed at a wire feeding side and recovery side w.r.t. the multigrooved rollers. The movable rollers are made to move towards and away from the fixed rollers to thereby move the wire gradually to the recovery side while being reciprocated over the multigrooved rollers. @(28pp Dwg.No.6/10)@
