Abstract

High voltage commutator, during C. A. T. production, with the aim of making it possible for people who work in the public sector, particularly neon sign advertising, to save time and also turn in work that is more effective and more imaginative. In the present state it is desirable to make a neon sign with blown neons, which has a series of effects, it would be constructed to use a type of system that is antiquated as well as expensive, in fact this system has to be controlled at low voltage (220 volts), in this way and for this reason each neon must have a high voltage transformer, when it is necessary to increase the voltage, this would enable it to be lit, the first reason it can be deduced that each neon requires its own transformer, with a prohibitive cost, something which is absurd and is costly from the start. The C. A. T. uses the same type of system, however rather than using the primary transformer commutation it is used directly on the second and straight away at high voltage, in these circumstances the supply to the first one is interrupted and is exactly 220 volts, thanks also to a series of relays that add to the operation or are structured to function as such, in fact, in case the supply to the first becomes disconnected, the second receives no voltage other than a little bit that is much lower, and is determined according to the energy stored as electricity accumulated in the connector between the first and second coils and the electric motor power induced in the circuit at the moment of priming or defusing the supply to the first.
