A product for the decontamination and reclamation of environments and media polluted by toxic substances, comprising at least one chlorinating agent for the toxic substances, based on trichloroisocyanuric acid and/or dihydrate and non-hydrated sodium or potassium salts of trichloroisocyanuric acid, at least one alkalinising agent, at least one source of metal ions, at least one suspending agent and regulator of the rate of chlorine transfer by the chlorinating agent(s).
