Treatment And Processing Of Natural Fur Or Leather
(AREA)
Abstract
The invention refers to a process to decorate leather that essentially consists of, as well as in iteration, the following phases: a) apply, at least to a partial area of one side of the leather to be decorated, a liquid solution prepared with synthetic, heat resistant resin that solidifies at temperatures more than 30 degrees centigrade; b) colour under heat, more than 90 degrees centigrade, preferably using organic colorants (anilines) and quickly bathing the leather in barrels coming from the previous phase; c) removing said solution, at a temperature less than 30 degrees centigrade, which contrasts the natural colouring and the initial pigmentation of the leather and the colorants fixed in the previous phase.
