Abstract

The invention refers to a machine for the dosing of powder into capsules, in particular for the pharmaceutical industry, characterised by the fact that it includes a central vertical tube, an external tube guided on the said central tube, such tubes being mobile according to constant travel ranges specially phased between them, a case fixed on the said external tube equipped with a lower stem parallel to the tube itself, a rocking lever fixed to a ring positioned longitudinally on the said external tube, a shaft guided into the said case and equipped below with a piston guided in the said stem, mechanisms for the support to the said central tube of a height adjustable load cell, control mechanisms for causing a descent in succession of the external tube so as to cause the introduction of the stem into the hopper of the powder and the filling of the same with a pre-determined quantity of powder, as well as the support of the free end of the lever on the load cell, an ascent of the central tube designed to cause the descent of the piston and the resulting compacting of the powder dose contained in the stem, an ascent of the external tube designed to raise the stem to a height above the hopper in alignment with a shell for receiving the compacted dose of powder, and finally a descent of the central tube designed to bring an adjustable connection fixed to the said central tube to act on the piston shaft so as to cause the expulsion of the compacted dose into the underlying shell.
