Abstract

The apparatus consists of at least one tank containing the liquid product for the traditional bath treatment of chairs for their deep tinting or varnishing and an aerial conveyor with a mobile chain which gradually moves a series of hooks above the tank . One chair at a time is completely immersed into the tank, automatically, once the chair re-emerges it is hooked by the appropriate hook which moves above the tank to transfer it along the circuit of the mobile chain, still hanging from the hook, up to the end of the cycle. The tank includes the operating systems for the automatic immersion and emergence of the chair, which is an external vertical servomechanism , of which the tip of the piston is joined to a supporting structure on which the operator manually places the chair. When the piston re-enters the cylinder of the servomechanism, the structure and the chair are immerged completely in the liquid to then reappear at the end of the bath. The positioning of the chair on the structure and its recovery via the hook at the end of the cycle are manual operations, but the sequences involving the immersion and emergence take place via conventional enabling and cut off sensors of which the first is activated by the operator after having placed the chair on the structure.
