Abstract

The hinge is to connect two masts one fixed and the other one mobile, of a metallic lock whose forks face each other when the lock is closed, a pair of pallets with borders directly facing each other that cause a joint with undercut sides. The hinge is made of two elements, each of them with a node and a wing to be fixed to the masts pallets. To the wing of each element is associated a slide clamp attachable in the loop and connected to the wing by screws with head inserted through holes of the wing and screwed in each correspondent in the slide clamp. The slide clamp has such a width to be frontally inserted in the loop. Slotted screws and cross-sectional buttonholes shaped wing holes for the screw, a conic countersink towards the buttonhole end. The hinge wing has at least one side part against one side part of the mast. With the slide clamp in the loop and the wing in the sides, screwing through a cam action between the screw heads and the countersinks, a cross-sectional movement of the slide clam that causes a lateral edge of the slide clam to slide behind the ribs side, with the following serration of the side between this edge of engagement and the wing part. In doing so the cross-lateral movement of the wing is prevented by the aforesaid lateral contrast.
