Abstract

The ski boot has a shell (402) with a sole ( 403) connected to an upper and an inner body ( 405). The shell has a slot (410,414) in the upper part, and has securing and adjustment devices (422) for at least one traction element (423) which acts on the upper of the shell. The slots comprise longitudinal first slots and second slots at the lateral region overlying the malleoli of the foot. The first slots are provided near the rear of the boot and the second slots are provided near the front of the boot. There is a slot bifurcating at the back of the boot to define two arms affecting the lateral regions of the boot.
