Abstract
The binding has a number of beads moulded on to it, and a fixing piece (2) attached to the other end. The fixing piece has two locations (5, 6) into which two of the beads fit to close the binding. A secondary fixing device in the form of a ring (12) is attached to the other side of the fixing piece. The free end of the binding can be passed through this ring. The locations for the beads have a conical cross-section and slots (4, 10, 11) permit the passage of the binding.
