Abstract

A connector (13) in a control switch of a device for controlling valves is mounted on the inside of the valve actuator housing and comprises two complementary coaxial parts (14,15) within a housing (16). The upper part (14) is firmly secured to the latter whilst the lower part (15) is supported by a bushing (116) which is axially guided within the housing (16). The stroke of the slidable bushing (116) and of the lower part (15) relative to the upper part (14) is arranged to be just sufficient to interrupt the optical conductor (18,118) and to re-establish the connection, through the connector (13). The relative movement of the two parts (15,16) is biased to either the open or closed end position by a spring (17) and is held in the other end position by a moving part (2) of the valve actuator.
